I have some on the sides of my butt and I haven't even got a baby yet! Sometimes it makes me insecure especially when I'm wearing a bikini but most days like during the winter I don't really care about them. But summer is here and now I'm starting to notice them again. So are there effective ways of getting rid of them or if not lightening them at least so it won't be very noticeable? I've heard of vitamin e and some butter cream but are they really effective?

loads on my tummy. not suprosed after 2 pregnancies! they do fade over time and become less noticable.
I've heard the same thing about vitamen E as this is supposed to boost collagen levels in the skin. Something I have been reccomended is a product called 'bio-oil' which is supposed to be very effective for treating scars and stretchmarks. I have nt used it myself as Im not bothered by mine but have heard it is good although rather expensive.

I've heard about bio-oil too I'll check it out thanks. I think there might be good creams or oils out there but the real problem is if we could use it religiously for it to take effect and for us to see real results. And most of these oils and creams are expensive too so that is another factor why we would stop using it.
